Sweet Jonny are back on track with a high-octane single, ‘Banger Racer’

A glam descent of clanging chords worthy of Slade ushers in ‘Banger Racer’. This heartfelt paean to the down and dirty world of that particular motorsport is driven hard over a stomping beat with crunching stops and howls of wailing lead.

Check it out on Spotify here:

A four-piece from Burgess Hill in West Sussex, Sweet Jonny are fronted by principal songwriter Tom Backshall on vocals and guitar. Fiercely independent and proud of their working-class roots, they have been ploughing their own DIY furrow since the release of their ‘JSA’ EP in 2013.
