Asia Featuring John Payne Set for Long-Awaited UK Return with Foghat Co-Headline Event
Progressive rock powerhouse Asia Featuring John Payne will play two eagerly anticipated UK dates this November, including a special co-headlining performance in London with classic rock legends Foghat. These rare UK appearances form part of a broader 2025 tour that sees Asia celebrate a new studio chapter while Foghat mark a major milestone in rock history.
Two Nights, One Epic Legacy
Fans of melodic prog and vintage rock have plenty to celebrate as Asia Featuring John Payne take the stage at HRH Prog Festival in Great Yarmouth on 15 November, followed by a co-headline show with Foghat at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 16 November.

These dates offer UK audiences a first taste of AVIANA—Asia’s latest studio album—featuring an elite lineup of prog virtuosos: Jeff Kollman (guitar), Thomas Lang (drums), and Ryo Okumoto (keys). Together with John Payne, the band delivers a fresh but faithful continuation of Asia’s storied sound.
Celebrating the Past, Creating the Future
John Payne fronted ASIA from 1992–2006, helping shape the band’s modern identity across eight studio albums and countless global tours. In 2007, Asia Featuring John Payne was formed to carry on that legacy, and the band has since become a celebrated live act across North America.
“AVIANA represents a bold step forward while staying true to the spirit of Asia,” says Payne. “It’s the perfect time to bring this energy to our UK fans.”
Joining them for the London show, Foghat celebrate the 50th anniversary of their classic tracks Slow Ride and Fool for the City, promising a raucous blend of blues rock and nostalgia on one unforgettable night.
