Chamber unleash ferocious new single Without A Trace
Nashville metalcore outfit Chamber have unveiled their latest single “without a trace”, offering another intense preview of their upcoming album this is goodbye…, due for release on 27 March 2026 via Pure Noise Records.
The track serves as the second single from the record and showcases the band’s signature blend of chaotic hardcore and punishing metal. Built around dissonant riffs, explosive breakdowns and relentless rhythmic shifts, “without a trace” captures the unhinged energy that has defined Chamber’s rise within the modern metalcore underground.
It’s a track that hits hard from the opening moments, delivering both raw aggression and a sense of calculated musical precision.
A song rooted in confrontation
Vocalist and guitarist Gabe Manuel revealed that the song emerged early in the album’s writing process and was originally intended to open the record.
According to Manuel, the track’s brutal opening chord remains one of his favourite moments on the album, even though it eventually found its place later in the tracklist for pacing reasons.
Lyrically, the song tackles themes of manipulation and moral reckoning.
“Lyrically, this song is about broken people who grift their way to positions of power or success with no regard for the people they hurt along the way. Even if they never truly get what they deserve, when the lights go out at night they still have to reckon with who they really are.”
The closing moments of the track also nod back to the band’s earlier days, featuring a breakdown buildup reminiscent of their earliest EP material.
A raw and instinctive album
This is goodbye… marks the third full-length album from Chamber and the follow-up to their 2023 breakthrough A Love To Kill For. Across twelve tracks, the Nashville five-piece dive deeper into their volatile mix of hardcore intensity and experimental heaviness.
Much of the album was written spontaneously in producer Randy LeBoeuf’s studio, with the band deliberately avoiding overthinking the process.
The result is a record that feels both chaotic and deeply personal — shaped by themes of burnout, existential tension and the relentless grind of life as a touring band.
Despite the ominous title, the album doesn’t signal an ending. Instead, it captures a moment of reflection and determination, as the band grapple with whether the fight to keep creating music is still worth it.
