n0trixx Announces Debut Album A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia
Russian-born, Lancashire-based bedlamcore artist n0trixx is preparing to release her debut album A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia, arriving March 13th 2026, alongside a newly announced 12-date UK headline tour.
The album arrives as the culmination of an intensely personal creative journey, with n0trixx writing and producing the entire project herself while also designing its accompanying artwork. Each track explores a different mental health struggle, transforming deeply personal experiences into an unsettling yet cathartic sonic landscape.
The record is previewed by the newly released single ‘hysteria [БЕГN]’, a propulsive and emotionally charged track that captures the spiralling nature of depression and intrusive thoughts. Delivered with twisted rap flows in her native Russian, the song centres around the repeated word “БЕГИ” — meaning “run” — echoing like a desperate command to escape the confines of a collapsing mind.
Written during one of the darkest periods of her life, ‘hysteria [БЕГN]’ stands as one of the album’s most vulnerable moments, pairing its heavy subject matter with an unexpectedly energetic instrumental that deliberately challenges the clichés surrounding how depression is portrayed in music.
A Concept Album Exploring Mental Health
Across its eleven tracks, A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia acts as a sonic exploration of psychological struggles that have shaped n0trixx’s life.
The project was first introduced with the lead single ‘Revenge On God’ featuring Yentl Cambre, a ferocious track reflecting the devastation of dementia through crushing riffs, screams, and dark trap beats. It was followed by January’s release ‘harmless’ featuring Sarunas Brazionis, which channels the emotional volatility of borderline personality disorder through dramatic contrasts between delicate melodies and explosive heaviness.
As the album unfolds, it moves through fractured soundscapes and psychological turmoil before ultimately arriving at a closing sense of healing and self-acceptance.
From Protest to Creative Freedom
Now permanently based in Britain after fleeing Russia following her arrest for protesting the war in Ukraine, n0trixx has built a fiercely independent creative identity. Living with Dissociative Identity Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder, she channels those experiences directly into her music, creating work that is as unfiltered as it is emotionally confronting.
With every element of the album created independently — from songwriting and production to visual design — A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia represents the full scope of her artistic vision.
UK Headline Tour Announced
To celebrate the album’s release, n0trixx will embark on a 12-date UK headline tour across March and April 2026. Known for her intense and immersive performances, the shows promise to bring the album’s chaotic emotional energy to life on stage.
