The Hu Unleash Two New Tracks, The Men And Warrior Chant Ahead Of Huge 2026 Live Dates
Hunnu Rock pioneers The Hu have returned with not one but two brand new tracks, releasing ‘The Men’ — accompanied by an official music video — and ‘Warrior Chant’ simultaneously via Better Noise Music. The double drop arrives as the Gold-certified Mongolian heavy hitters gear up for a packed 2026 live schedule that includes a UK and European tour this autumn and a support slot for Iron Maiden at Knebworth Park in July.

The new releases follow the band’s recent contribution to the Netflix series One Piece, for which they appeared on the track ‘Pray To The Sun’ — further evidence of a band whose reach continues to extend well beyond the boundaries of the rock world.
The Men — Ancient Wisdom, Modern Power
‘The Men’ opens with traditional Mongolian strings before giving way to a groove-laden riff and the kind of hypnotic vocal delivery that has become The Hu’s calling card. The band’s signature fusion of indigenous instrumentation, bone-heavy guitars and tribal chanting is in full effect, producing something that feels simultaneously ancient and viscerally immediate.

Band member Galaa explained the philosophy behind the track.
“‘The Men’ is written based on Mongolian philosophy of ‘Man’s Inner Spirit’ and the importance of inner strength and kindness of a man to the world. Energy of men should always be reinforced with positiveness, strength and generosity, so this song tries to encapsulate that ancient wisdom and share it with the rest of humanity.”
He added that the lyrics are intended as chants guiding men of all ages toward purpose and goodness, with the hope that listeners will connect with the Mongolian way of life through the music.
Warrior Chant — The Sound They Were Built For
Where ‘The Men’ builds and breathes, ‘Warrior Chant’ goes straight for the throat. A hard-charging chorus, a tight metallic soundscape and the instantly recognisable presence of the horse head fiddle combine to deliver exactly what the title promises. For anyone who discovered The Hu through their breakout tracks, this will feel like a homecoming.
Galaa offered further insight into the track’s construction.
“‘Warrior Chant’ has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with, and everyone who knows us will say that it is ‘our song.’ Our third album has a bit of everything, rhythm-wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre. Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait, and you can hear that rhythm throughout the song.”
