Creeper Share New Single Prey For The Night Ahead of Halloween Album

Creeper continue to expand their gothic universe with the release of their brand new single “Prey For The Night”, the latest taste of their upcoming album ‘Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death’, due out this Halloween, October 31st.

Following the blood-soaked trail laid down by previous singles “Headstones” and “Blood Magick (It’s A Ritual)”, the band’s latest offering blends cinematic darkwave textures with grandiose hard rock. Opening with throwback synth stabs and William von Ghould’s ominous baritone, the track explodes into a dramatic blend of ‘80s arena rock, soaring choruses, and theatrical interplay with keyboardist Hannah Greenwood. A snarling saxophone solo adds even more drama to a song whose title already hints at dual meaning and dark intent.

Mistress of Death Rises

‘Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death’ sees Creeper delve deeper into the mythos that made its predecessor their most ambitious work to date. The new chapter unfolds across the decadent landscape of a fictional American tour during the height of the Satanic Panic. Each stop leaves behind a trail of dead fans – and a supernatural hunter, the titular Mistress of Death, is on the band’s heels.

The album is brought to life with storytelling cameos from Patricia Morrison (Sisters of Mercy, The Damned), sweeping string arrangements from the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, and a taste for the gothic that pulls no punches.

Collectible Chaos

In true Creeper fashion, the band has rolled out a suite of exclusive merch and physical editions. Blood red and full moon white vinyl variants are flying off the shelves, while a double-bill ‘Sanguivore’ cassette housed in a VHS-style case has already sold out. Fans can also get their hands on a ‘Mistress of Death’ bomber jacket and a ‘Sanguivore 666’ hockey shirt – collectables as theatrical as the band itself.
