Where is Mutations held?
Across Brighton’s grassroots venues. In 2026 that meant ten rooms, from Chalk in Pool Valley to The Hope & Ruin, Green Door Store and The Prince Albert, all within walking distance of each other in the city centre.
Who is playing Mutations 2027?
The 2027 line-up has not been announced yet. In 2026 the bill included Fat Dog, Panic Shack, Hammok, Death Valley Girls and Theatre.
How do Mutations tickets work?
A weekend ticket gets you into all the venues across both nights, but the smaller rooms fill up fast for the buzziest bands, so arrive early. Early bird tickets for 2027 are already on sale.
What kind of music is Mutations?
Mostly new and up-and-coming punk, post-punk, indie, noise and alternative bands, with a few cult names. It is a festival for discovering your next favourite band.
