Show Me The Body Release Ferocious Cover of Sabotage, Announce 10th Anniversary Vinyl and NYC Show
Show Me The Body have returned with Sabotage, their searing take on the Beastie Boys’ 1994 classic. Reimagined through the lens of SMTB’s genre-warping hardcore, the track arrives with a striking video produced in collaboration with independent conflict journalism outlet Popular Front.

The new version of Sabotage has long been a crowd favorite during the band’s explosive live sets, having first been debuted during a surprise show in Tompkins Square Park in 2023. Now, the studio recording and accompanying video bring its political urgency into full view — merging scenes from the band’s London pop-up show in Southwark Park with raw footage from Popular Front’s field coverage.
“New York band with a New York song reaching out to the world at war with a message of love and solidarity,” says frontman Julian Cashwan Pratt.
The release sets the stage for an important milestone in the band’s history — the 10th anniversary of Body War, their seminal 2016 debut. To mark the occasion, SMTB will release a special anniversary edition vinyl on October 17th and perform a one-night-only show at 99 Scott in Brooklyn, joined by an all-NYC lineup including Roc Marciano, Wiki, Fatal Realm, Baby Osama, and Ferment.
Body War 10th Anniversary Show:
October 17 – Brooklyn, NY – 99 Scott

Formed in 2009, Show Me The Body (Julian Cashwan Pratt and Harlan Steed) built a movement from the NYC underground outwards, breaking down the walls between punk, hardcore, hip-hop, and noise through their DIY ethos and community-driven CORPUS collective. Over the past 16 years, they’ve toured relentlessly, collaborated across genres, and consistently challenged the idea of what a hardcore band can be.
With Sabotage and the Body War celebration, SMTB continue to push that mission forward — disrupting, disobeying, and always speaking from the heart.
