“I Love My Robot” pairs retro sci-fi camp with a playful take on an increasingly algorithm-driven world.

Sheri Moon Zombie launches her music career with Rob Zombie-directed I Love My Robot video

Sheri Moon Zombie has released her debut single, I Love My Robot, arriving with a video directed by Rob Zombie and a limited-edition 12-inch picture disc through Nuclear Blast.

Produced by Zeuss, the track leans into retro-futurist sci-fi, B-movie camp and bright, hook-heavy pop instincts. Its video places the song firmly within the familiar warped visual world of the Zombie universe, with Rob Zombie taking the director’s chair for the debut.

I Love My Robot plays with the friction between human imagination and technology, framing its robot romance with a knowingly offbeat sense of humour. Beneath the kitsch surface, the track takes aim at an increasingly algorithm-led world while making room for individuality, creativity and real connection.

The single is also being released as a one-off 12-inch picture disc, limited to 600 copies worldwide. Side A features I Love My Robot, while Side B carries Rob Zombie’s Sir Lord Acid Wolfman.

Of the total pressing, 500 copies will be available in the US and 100 in Europe. The picture disc is due for release on 30 October via Nuclear Blast.
