Against The Current set third album Till Death & Back for October alongside UK headline shows
Against The Current have announced their third studio album, Till Death & Back, due for release on 30 October 2026. The record arrives as the trio prepare to bring their Till Death & Back Tour to five UK cities before continuing across mainland Europe.
The announcement is accompanied by new single Protégé, a psychologically charged track that turns its attention towards the relationships, influences and power dynamics that shape identity. It follows earlier album cuts Always You & I and Dead Man Walking, which explore devotion, survival and personal change from different angles.
Frontwoman Chrissy Costanza said the new album is tied together by the idea of fate: “Fate is the thread running through every song on this album, the belief that what’s meant for you is bound to you across time. The cost is the fire, the fight, the version of yourself you don’t get back. Till Death & Back is the promise that no matter how far you go, the thread never breaks, not even in death.”
A record shaped by tension and devotion
Executive produced by drummer Will Ferri, Till Death & Back was made with collaborators including Erik Ron, Josh Gilbert, Morwell and Josh Saldata. The album is described as moving between intimacy and confrontation, romanticism and darkness, with Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and Ferri leaning into a more expansive and cinematic strain of the band’s sound.
Protégé is the latest glimpse of that approach, framing a familiar relationship dynamic in more unsettled territory. The band have also shared a performance clip for the single; watch the video here.

Five UK dates open the Till Death & Back Tour
The run begins on album release day with a Glasgow show at SWG3, before the trio head through Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London. The UK dates are followed by headline stops in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Vienna, Munich and more.
