Palaye Royale unveil Amsterdamage after surprise London set and confirm 2027 world tour
Palaye Royale have announced their sixth album, Amsterdamage, alongside a 2027 world tour that includes headline dates in Manchester, Glasgow and London’s OVO Arena Wembley.
The announcement arrived with a surprise acoustic performance outside King’s Cross station in central London on Friday 2 October, where a large crowd gathered after word spread that the band were in the area. Having met fans outside Virgin Music’s offices, the group made their way towards the station, signing records and taking photographs along the route.

Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett then played a short set featuring Death or Glory, No Love In LA, Lost In Translation and Mr. Doctor Man. The latter is the first track released from the new record.

Remington said: “Our fans are incredible – they give so much to us. We wouldn’t be here without them. Some of them travelled so far to be with us today. It’s very special. We can’t wait to be back in April for our Wembley Arena show.”

A record shaped by loss and reunion
Amsterdamage is due for release on 22 January via Sumerian Records. The album was written across 2025 during touring, with sessions taking place between San Diego and the Netherlands before the record was completed in Los Angeles with producer Chris Greatti.
The record follows the death of the brothers’ mother, Stephanie Rachel, in 2024. Emerson described the album as a vital point of reconnection for the band.

He said: “I think if we didn’t have this album, we would have all kind of gone separate ways. After losing our mother, this is our phoenix rising from the ashes. Each one of us took our own paths in dealing with death, and rejoined not only as individuals, but with our partners, and as brothers. This creative bond was the thing that kept us together.”

Lead single Lost In Translation leans into the band’s affection for mid-2000s British rock, pairing an upbeat, live-minded arrangement with lyrics about trying to force a dream or relationship through seemingly immovable barriers.
Remington said: “We felt pretty nostalgic writing this one. It took us back to the music we grew up on which was a lot of mid 2000s Brit rock bands. We wanted something upbeat and one that would go crazy live but the lyrics represent wanting to make something work so bad, whether it be a dream or a relationship and it seems like something is in the way of it working out and trying to push through at any cost.”
