Alexisonfire and Billy Talent Announce 20th Anniversary Co-Headline Shows
London and Montreal to Host Exclusive Full-Album Performances This Summer
Two titans of Canadian rock are coming together for an explosive pair of shows this summer. Alexisonfire and Billy Talent will co-headline one-night-only performances in London and Montreal, marking 20 years since the release of their pivotal 2006 albums — Crisis and Billy Talent II, respectively.
Each band will perform their anniversary album in full, making these nights essential for fans who grew up with their blistering soundtracks of the 2000s.
Where and When
The brief but powerful run includes two massive arena dates:
- June 24, 2026 – OVO Wembley Arena – London, UK (Alexisonfire closes)
- July 17, 2026 – Bell Centre – Montreal, QC (Billy Talent closes)
Support comes from post-hardcore firebrands Touché Amoré in London and genre-hopping upstarts Faze in Montreal.

Two Albums That Shaped a Generation
Released just months apart in 2006, Crisis and Billy Talent II represent career-defining moments for each band.
Crisis saw Alexisonfire lean into darker lyrical themes, inspired by the haunting imagery of the Blizzard of ’77 and a stripped-down studio process aimed at capturing their live essence. The record’s raw edge and intensity helped it debut at #1 in Canada and solidify the band as a post-hardcore powerhouse.
Meanwhile, Billy Talent II became a juggernaut — topping charts in Canada and Germany, producing hits like “Fallen Leaves,” “Devil in a Midnight Mass,” and “Red Flag.” The album brought Billy Talent mainstream recognition, TV appearances, and a JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year.
Lifelong Friendship, Shared Legacy
The connection between Alexisonfire and Billy Talent runs deep. Both bands emerged from Canada’s underground in the early 2000s, playing sweaty club shows that gave way to major festival headlines. Over the past two decades, they’ve crisscrossed the globe and built a bond that’s finally leading to this long-overdue shared stage.
“It feels like you blink and all of a sudden your album is almost old enough to drink in the United States,” said AOF’s George Pettit. “We discovered another level of potential that we didn’t have at the start. I’m happy we get to relive it this summer with all of you.”
