Arch Enemy Reveal New Singer On Ferocious Single To The Last Breath

“Just when you think it’s over, a new beginning rises. Now it’s time to rage with us – to the very last fucking breath!”

Arch Enemy Unleash New Era With Lauren Hart And To The Last Breath

Swedish extreme metal titans Arch Enemy have detonated the start of a new chapter. Their blistering new single “To The Last Breath” marks the band’s first new material since Blood Dynasty — and introduces a seismic shift in the lineup.

Stepping up to the mic is Lauren Hart, formerly of Once Human, whose arrival signals both continuity and evolution for one of metal’s most enduring juggernauts.

A Baptism Of Fire

“To The Last Breath” is no tentative reintroduction. It’s a full-throttle statement of intent — razor-edged riffs, militant precision and a vocal performance that doesn’t so much arrive as it detonates.

Founder and guitarist Michael Amott describes working with Hart as a turning point:

“Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey. Working with her was an exceptional experience – her remarkable voice, coupled with her dedication and professionalism, brings a rare level of excellence. I look forward to continuing the collaboration!”

Fans had been speculating for weeks, with the band wiping their social media clean and fuelling rumours about who would front this next phase. Now the curtain’s been ripped down — and Hart’s debut is nothing short of a trial by fire.

Amott is clear about the track’s purpose:

“Make no mistake – this song is a reckoning. Musically, it’s unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band – and I believe longtime fans will recognise that immediately. Lyrically, it’s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control. It captures that moment when you realise you’ve been fed poison – and you choose to fight back. Once that clarity hits, there’s no retreat. It’s do or die.”

Back To The Root Of All Evil

To celebrate the new era, Arch Enemy have announced an intimate European club run for summer 2026, aptly titled “Back To The Root Of All Evil”.

These shows strip the spectacle back to sweat and steel. Normally commanding cavernous venues and festival main stages, the band will instead pack into clubs that promise a visceral, up-close experience.
