Babyshambles Reunite for First Tour in Over a Decade

Down in Albion 20th Anniversary Celebrated with 18-Date UK Tour in 2025

After more than a decade away from the spotlight, Babyshambles are officially back. The iconic band, fronted by Peter Doherty, will return to stages across the UK this autumn and winter with an 18-date tour marking the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut album Down in Albion.

The tour kicks off on November 13, 2025, in Coventry and winds through cities including London, Manchester, and Glasgow, before wrapping up in Plymouth on December 10, 2025. This will be the first time Babyshambles have played live together since 2014.

“Unfinished Business”

Peter Doherty described the return as inevitable:

“It’s unfinished business and I knew people wanted to see Babyshambles back on stage, as so many people have asked me about them. There’s so much love out there for those songs. We’re gonna be tight as a nut’s chuff.”

Bass player Drew McConnell cited the recent passing of former guitarist Patrick Walden as a key motivator:

“The death of Patrick made us determined that we have to tour now.”

Babyshambles – Delivery

A Legacy Reignited

Since forming in the mid-2000s, Babyshambles carved out a defiant space in British indie with their chaotic live shows and deeply personal lyrics. Their debut Down in Albion (2005), Shotter’s Nation (2007), and Sequel to the Prequel (2013) all landed in the UK Top 10, with singles like “Killamangiro,” “Fuck Forever,” “Albion,” and “Delivery” becoming instant cult classics.

The band’s current lineup features Doherty (vocals/guitar), Mick Whitnall (guitar), Drew McConnell (bass), and Adam Ficek (drums).
