Gogol Bordello Light the Fuse with “We Mean It, Man!” Ahead of UK Tour
Gogol Bordello are back and roaring louder than ever, returning with their first original music in over three years: “We Mean It, Man!” Released via Eugene Hütz’s own Casa Gogol Records, the track is a defiant, electrified rally cry that proves the band hasn’t lost a step—if anything, they’ve turned the chaos up several notches.

Produced and mixed by Adam “Atom” Greenspan (Idles, Nick Cave, Bloc Party), “We Mean It, Man!” erupts in a flurry of punk-drenched distortion, anchored by Hütz’s unmistakable delivery—a madcap, mantra-like howl of intent. Describing it as a “temperature check of the eternal seeker,” Hütz envisions the track as a visceral escape from the world’s “lies and irony” through unity and defiance.
“It’s someone who is bellydancing on status quo-tables… reaching for rays of joyous healing unity,” says Hütz.
The single lands just ahead of Gogol Bordello’s return to the UK this October, with a run of shows that includes two nights at London’s Electric Ballroom and a sold-out show in Brighton. Their live performances, always known for teetering on the edge of combustion, are likely to become the next chapter in their mythos of controlled mayhem.

An animated video for the single is also out now, complementing the song’s whirlwind energy with visual fire.
Punk Rock as Global Solidarity
Three decades into their journey, Gogol Bordello remains a genre-less force—part punk sermon, part folkloric fever dream. Their new track follows a year of activism and creative expansion. This summer, Hütz and actress Vera Farmiga’s band The Yagas released a version of the Ukrainian love song “Chervona Ruta” in celebration of Kupala Night, continuing their efforts to raise awareness for UNITED24.

Meanwhile, Casa Gogol Records has also been busy with the release of The Outlaw Vinnie Stigma, an Americana detour from the Agnostic Front guitarist.
Gogol Bordello’s upcoming tour features support from Son Rompe Pera, Split Dogs, and the psych-sleaze collective Puzzled Panther—whose lineup includes Hütz himself, alongside members of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and more. Their debut EP Fits of Serenity drops 24 October, just as the UK tour kicks off.
