Halestorm Unleash Darkness Always Wins Ahead of Massive UK Tour

“The war may not be won in this lifetime. But our mission is to pass the torch so that those who follow have a light to fight with.” – Lzzy Hale

Halestorm Drop Cinematic Video for “Darkness Always Wins”

New album Everest out August 8, massive UK arena tour begins November

Halestorm are charging full speed into a colossal new era. The GRAMMY-winning hard rock outfit have just unveiled the official video for their brooding anthem “Darkness Always Wins,” their first release of 2025 and the gateway to upcoming studio album Everest, due August 8 via Atlantic Records.

Directed by DJay Brawner and produced by the acclaimed Dave Cobb, the video casts frontwoman Lzzy Hale in a commanding, cinematic role—her own “knight in shining armour,” as the song’s darkly elegant atmosphere unfolds. It’s a bold statement of intent, both visually and sonically.

“It is reality. History repeating. Evil prevails and the good depart first,” Lzzy Hale shares. “But we are not doomed as long as we persist and keep our fires burning.”

The band’s relentless touring schedule reflects that same fiery persistence. After supporting Iron Maiden at London Stadium this Saturday and playing Black Sabbath’s final show at Villa Park on July 5, Halestorm will crisscross the US with Volbeat, before returning to the UK for a headlining arena run in November with special guests Bloodywood and Kelsy Karter & The Heroines.
