Hollywood Undead Drop Dark New Anthem ‘Savior’
Trading Swagger for Soul-Searching
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD are no strangers to transformation. Since their 2008 debut Swan Songs, the LA collective has blended rap, rock, and raw energy into a sound that’s as theatrical as it is thunderous. Now, with their newest single “SAVIOR”, the band peels back the curtain even further, offering one of their most emotionally revealing songs to date.

Released via Sumerian Records and available to stream everywhere now, “SAVIOR” arrives on the heels of their breakout 2024 track “Hollywood Forever,” a streaming powerhouse that re-established their place at the forefront of modern rock. But where “Hollywood Forever” swaggered through fame and fantasy, “SAVIOR” aches with inner turmoil and vulnerability.
Built around a monolithic guitar riff and a spectral hook, the song’s confessional chorus—“You say that I’m your savior, but there’s no saving me”—plunges into the psychological wreckage left by trauma, identity crises, and the weight of public life. It’s a departure from their usual fire-and-brimstone bravado, but one that feels fully earned after nearly two decades of evolution.

“This song is special to us,” the band shares. “We’re all excited to follow up Hollywood Forever with SAVIOR. We can’t wait for the Undead Army and beyond to hear it.”
Another Step in a Massive Year
The release of “SAVIOR” caps off a blistering run for the band. With over 20.3 million cross-platform streams, “Hollywood Forever” not only charted at #18 on Active Rock radio and held firm in the Top 20 but also birthed a remix celebrated as a “genre-killer” by tastemakers across the underground. It marked a bold reintroduction to the scene, especially under their new label home, Sumerian Records.
Live, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD have kept pace with their studio momentum. They recently wrapped the spring 2025 leg of their co-headlining Hollywood & N9ne tour with Tech N9ne, drawing thousands across North America. Main stage appearances at Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville, and Louder Than Life further cemented their place as festival heavyweights, with a fall stop at Aftershock still on the horizon.
The band is also gearing up to join Falling In Reverse this August and September on the God Is A Weapon tour, promising another round of incendiary performances for fans across the U.S.
Looking Ahead
While details remain under wraps, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD have confirmed they’re deep in the studio working on their ninth full-length album. If “SAVIOR” is any indication, fans can expect something both raw and revitalising—a continuation of their legacy that refuses to coast on past glories.
As one of the few bands able to evolve without losing their core identity, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD’s newest material proves they’re still capable of surprising their audience—and themselves.
