Band Brings The Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still to the Stage with Delta Sleep
Following a run of arena shows alongside Pierce The Veil, Michigan’s emo torchbearers Hot Mulligan are stepping out on their own headline tour across Europe, the UK and Ireland in 2026. Set to kick off in Brussels on February 20th and wrap in Dublin on March 15th, the 15-date tour includes a stop at London’s storied Roundhouse and support from UK math-rock favourites Delta Sleep.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Hot Mulligan’s fourth album, The Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still, released earlier this year via Wax Bodega to widespread acclaim. The record captures the band at their most unfiltered and unrelenting — packed with cathartic singalongs, unpredictable songwriting, and their trademark fusion of sincerity and absurdity.
The Band’s Most Fully-Formed Work Yet
The album surges with emotion, from ferocious outbursts to introspective moments, layered with shimmering guitars, sly synth touches, and Tades Sanville’s unmistakable vocal grit. Tracks like “And a Big Load” and “It Smells Like Fudge Axe in Here” show the band doubling down on both vulnerability and chaos, with hooks that linger and lyrics that sting.
Formed in 2014, Hot Mulligan has grown from DIY house shows to commanding international attention, all while staying fiercely true to their offbeat charm. With 140 million Spotify streams under their belt and tours with emo heavyweights like The Wonder Years and Jimmy Eat World, their journey to headlining some of Europe’s most iconic venues feels hard-earned and well-deserved.
