Iron Maiden’s 50th Anniversary Tour Set to Rock Europe

“This show isn’t just a celebration of our music; it is also about our years of art, of Eddie and of the many, many worlds of Maiden we have created for you.”

Iron Maiden - Run For Your Lives World Tour

Iron Maiden Launches 2025 Tour with a Nod to Their 80s Legacy

Over 1 Million Tickets Sold as “Run For Your Lives” Tour Celebrates 50 Years of Metal Mayhem

Iron Maiden will kick off their Run For Your Lives World Tour on May 27th in Budapest, marking a massive milestone—50 years since the band first formed in 1975. Spanning 29 cities across Europe and the UK, the tour has already shifted over one million tickets, with most dates sold out and final production holds set to be released closer to showtime.

This isn’t just another tour—it’s a full-throttle celebration of Maiden’s legacy, with a career-spanning setlist from their groundbreaking early records through to Fear of the Dark. Promising the band’s most elaborate live show ever, the tour takes fans back to the era when Maiden first made their mark on heavy metal history.

Phones Down, Fists Up
In true throwback spirit, Iron Maiden and their ever-iconic mascot Eddie are calling on fans to ditch the phones and fully immerse themselves in the experience. “Let’s go back to the 80s,” Eddie demands—and the band agrees.

Manager Rod Smallwood emphasizes the importance of being present:

“The passion and involvement of our fans at shows really makes them special, but the phone obsession has now got so out of hand… Please respect the band, respect the other fans and have the time of your lives.”

More Than Just a Tour
The 50th anniversary celebrations stretch beyond the stage. Fans can look forward to a feature-length documentary, a lavish hardback book from Thames & Hudson, and a return of Eddie’s Official Pop-up Dive Bar in 20 cities. These pre- and post-show hangouts will offer Trooper Beer, exclusive merch, themed entertainment, and Maiden camaraderie—though the band themselves won’t be in attendance.
