MPF2026 Unleashes First Wave Featuring Laura Jane Grace, Fucked Up and Ska Icons

Manchester Punk Festival returns over Easter weekend 2026 for what promises to be a landmark tenth edition. As the reigning Best Small Festival from the 2024 UK Festival Awards, MPF continues its legacy of DIY spirit and global punk celebration by announcing a stellar first wave of bands that spans continents, genres and decades.

Headlining this first drop is none other than Laura Jane Grace, iconic frontwoman of Against Me!, making her long-awaited MPF debut. Joining her are Canadian hardcore heavyweights Fucked Up, fresh off years of fan anticipation, along with a skank-happy duo of Slow Gherkin and UK ska-punk staples [Spunge]. Underground legends Inner Terrestrials also return for a second round.

Other names already confirmed include Dead To Me, Strike Anywhere, Ignite, Dave Hause, Lightyear, Brendan Kelly, Riskee & The Ridicule, and Aerial Salad, to name a few from the 90-plus artists already revealed.

This year’s lineup flexes global reach and stylistic depth—from bruising hardcore to melodic pop-punk, dub-punk hybrids to feminist punk firebrands. With many more bands still to come, 2026 is already shaping up to be the festival’s most ambitious offering yet.

MPF began in 2015 with a mission to showcase the best in punk, ska and hardcore across Manchester’s independent venues. It has grown organically into a nationally beloved fixture in the alternative calendar while keeping its community ethos at the core.

Over 60% of tickets are already gone, with standard, charity and instalment options still available. Early tiers sold out in record time—don’t sleep on it.
