Lynyrd Skynyrd Honours 50 Years with Live Album from the Ryman
New single “Tuesday’s Gone” featuring Jelly Roll out now
Lynyrd Skynyrd has announced the release of Celebrating 50 Years – Live At The Ryman, a new live album and DVD captured during their milestone 50th anniversary show at Nashville’s hallowed Ryman Auditorium. Arriving June 27 via Frontiers Music SRL, the collection documents a legendary night in 2022 that now stands as the final performance of founding guitarist Gary Rossington, who passed away in 2023.

As a preview of the set, the band has released a powerful new version of “Tuesday’s Gone,” featuring country rock star Jelly Roll. The emotional performance is available now on all streaming platforms.
Star-Studded Celebration
The live album captures Lynyrd Skynyrd’s signature Southern rock swagger with special guest appearances by Marcus King, John Osborne of Brothers Osborne, Brent Smith of Shinedown, Donnie Van Zant, and Jelly Roll. From high-energy cuts like “Gimme Three Steps” to the soaring closer “Freebird,” the tracklist serves as both a tribute and a celebration.
The 2CD/DVD, Blu-Ray, and double LP versions are available for pre-order now here.

A Legacy Carved in Stone
Formed in Jacksonville in 1964 and transformed into Lynyrd Skynyrd by 1968, the band broke through with their 1973 debut album and quickly became the voice of Southern rock with enduring anthems like “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird.” Their journey has included devastating loss, resilience, and revival, particularly after the tragic 1977 plane crash.
Reuniting in 1987 with Johnny Van Zant stepping in for his late brother Ronnie, the band carried forward with a renewed spirit. Even decades later, their influence continues to ripple through the music world.
