The Wildhearts Unleash ‘Troubadour Moon’ + Headline UK Tour Announced

“There’s everything here – catchy choruses, proper fuck-off riffs, anger, frustration, acceptance and revelation. It’s a hard rock album for people who love hard rock!” – Ginger Wildheart

The Wildhearts Drop New Single ‘Troubadour Moon’ Ahead of UK Tour

The Wildhearts are back with a brand-new single, ‘Troubadour Moon’, taken from their upcoming album, ‘Satanic Rites of The Wildhearts’, set for release on March 7th via Snakefarm. Packed with soaring melodies and anthemic hooks, the track is a triumphant nod to the band’s signature sound, blending infectious energy with an unmistakable raw edge.

The single comes with an official video filled with subtle callbacks to the band’s early days. Longtime fans might even spot a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference to former Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan!

Frontman Ginger Wildheart sheds light on the track’s inspiration:

“I was reading an interview with a well-known musician recently, and he was talking about how there aren’t any troubadours anymore—people who play music purely for the love of it. That idea really resonated with me, so I’ve addressed it here, along with the importance of staying true to yourself rather than chasing trends.”

New Album: ‘Satanic Rites of The Wildhearts’

Produced by Jim Pinder (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine), the album is described as a spiritual successor to their 1993 debut, ‘Earth vs The Wildhearts’. The record features 10 tracks, including the glam-infused ‘I’ll Be Your Monster’, which boasts a guest sax appearance from Jørgen Munkeby (Shining/Emperor).

Reflecting on the album, Ginger says:

“The songs were written during a period of transition, from extremely negative to positive. I realised how much control I have over my mental health, and the songs came from that understanding. It’s a hard rock album for people who love hard rock!”

‘Satanic Rites of The Wildhearts’ will be available on coloured vinyl, CD (with an exclusive bonus track), and cassette. The physical formats will include handwritten lyrics, exclusive artwork, and a painting by Ginger Wildheart himself.

The Wildhearts UK Tour – March 2025

To celebrate the album’s release, The Wildhearts will embark on an eight-date headline UK tour this March. Fans can expect a full night of rock ‘n’ roll chaos, with support from Dirt Box Disco and Jim Jones.

“The party starts when the doors open, so get a buzz on and get down early!” – Ginger Wildheart
