Tuk Smith brings Nashville grit back to UK stages this summer

“I’ve always had a special place in my heart for the UK ever since I first started playing here a decade ago… This is my first proper UK tour as a solo artist and I’m just as excited now as I was back then!”

Tuk Smith sets sights on UK return with summer 2026 dates

Rock ’n’ roll revivalist energy is heading back across the Atlantic as Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts announce a run of UK shows for July 2026. After tearing through 2025 alongside Danko Jones and making a statement appearance at Planet Rockstock, Smith is wasting no time reconnecting with one of his most loyal audiences.

The seven-date stint kicks off in festival fashion before rolling through intimate club stages across the country, bringing that unmistakable blend of Southern grit and glam-soaked hooks to British soil once again.

A tour built on momentum

Fresh off the release of Troubled Paradise, Smith’s latest EP leans into his knack for sharp songwriting and arena-sized choruses without losing the rawness that defines his work. It’s a collection that feels both road-tested and deeply personal — the kind of record designed to be played loud in packed rooms.

Now based in Nashville and operating via his own Gypsy Rose Records, Smith continues to carve his own lane, balancing classic rock influences with a modern outsider perspective.

A personal connection to UK crowds

For Smith, this return isn’t just another tour cycle — it’s something more meaningful.

“I’ve always had a special place in my heart for the UK ever since I first started playing here a decade ago… This is my first proper UK tour as a solo artist and I’m just as excited now as I was back then!”

That sense of gratitude and unfinished business runs through everything he does. Whether channelling the swagger of classic rock icons or digging into more reflective songwriting territory, Smith’s mission remains clear: make music that actually matters.

Still chasing something real

In an era he describes as “disposable and plastic,” Tuk Smith stands firmly in opposition. His work is rooted in authenticity — equal parts sweat, ambition and stubborn refusal to conform.

There’s a duality at play: the illusion of effortless rock ’n’ roll cool versus the reality of relentless craft. It’s that tension that fuels both his recordings and his live shows, and it’s exactly what UK audiences will get to experience firsthand this summer.
