CREEPER Sink Their Teeth Into the Future with Ferocious New Track Headstones
A new era begins in a blood-red blaze as CREEPER unveil Headstones, the first single from their upcoming album Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death.
The track emerges just days after CREEPER’s spellbinding, sold-out finale to the Sanguivore chapter at London’s KOKO — a show that concluded with a now-trademark flourish of gothic drama and narrative rebirth. The unveiling of a mysterious new figure, the Mistress of Death, during a short horror film, marked the symbolic transition. Now, Headstones pulls fans deep into that blood-drenched world with a sound as feral as it is flamboyant.

A Whirlwind of Thrash, Hooks, and Gothic Fury
Headstones wastes no time sinking its teeth in. The song surges forward on classic thrash metal riffs and a punk-rock heartbeat before bursting into a signature CREEPER chorus built for arena chants and fist-pumping drama. Guitarists Ian Miles and Lawrie Pattison tear through duelling Judas Priest-style solos, while Hannah Hermione’s gothic-gospel vocals elevate the song into a dark cathedral of sound.

NEW ALBUM ‘SANGUIVORE II: MISTRESS OF DEATH’ IS COMING LATER THIS YEAR
Lyrically, frontman William Von Ghould leans into theatrical vampirism with sly innuendo and poetic menace. “It’s the fastest single we’ve released in years,” he says. “It follows a vampire rock band on a tour soaked in violence and excess… the dark perils of rock ’n’ roll, sins of the flesh, and pure evil.”
Produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, The Damned), Headstones captures CREEPER at their most gloriously unhinged — echoing Iron Maiden’s grandeur and channeling the unashamed drama of Jim Steinman.
From the Stage to the Screen — and On the Road Again
The accompanying video magnifies the track’s ferocity, capturing the chaotic magnetism of CREEPER’s live show. Von Ghould leads the charge in a performance bristling with pyro, theatrical swagger, and untamed energy — a clear statement of their headliner ambitions.
