Viagra Boys Drop “Uno II” Video from Forthcoming Album

Stockholm’s favourite post-punk provocateurs, Viagra Boys, are back with a fresh dose of chaotic energy. Their new single, “Uno II,” delves into the paranoia of frontman Sebastian Murphy, inspired by his Italian greyhound’s endless trips to the vet. Over shimmering guitars, jazzy flute flourishes, and a hypnotic drum shuffle, Murphy blends dark humour with existential dread, offering yet another skewed take on modern anxieties.

The track comes with a mind-bending video co-directed by Murphy and André Jofré. Shot guerrilla-style across Czechia, Finland, and Sweden, the video follows a version of Murphy as a journalist covering a dog show in Eastern Europe. What starts as a simple assignment spirals into a surreal nightmare, filled with unseen surveillance, shadowy figures, and a Croatian veterinarian who might be either his saviour or puppet master. The line between reality and delusion blurs in true Viagra Boys fashion.

Following up 2022’s Cave World, the band’s sharp-witted takedown of conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers, viagr aboys turns Murphy’s focus inward. “The whole political thing was exhausting,” he admits. “This is like a self-titled album but a bit simple and stupid—because that’s how I am.”
The album was co-produced by longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt and features 11 tracks of signature Viagra Boys madness, balancing absurdity with high-concept satire. The cover art, painted by Leo Park, mirrors the album’s blend of raw expression and abstract thought.
Infinite Anxiety Tour Kicks Off in April
Viagra Boys will hit the road in 2025 with their Infinite Anxiety Tour, kicking off at Coachella before heading through Europe and the UK. The band will then return to North America in September for their first headline shows in two years.
