W.A.S.P. Bring Their Fierce Debut Back to Life on UK Stages This Month

This month, legendary LA metal icons W.A.S.P. return to the UK to mark 40 years since the release of their incendiary self-titled debut album — and they’re playing it in full. The Album ONE Alive! The tour is a rare and unmissable event that will see Blackie Lawless and company rip through every track of their 1984 breakout, plus a setlist stacked with classics from their catalogue.

With the July leg of the tour already behind them, UK fans now have three chances left to catch the show this September, joined by longtime friends and heavy metal veterans Armored Saint.

An Anniversary Worthy of the Volume

W.A.S.P.’s first record remains one of the most notorious debuts in metal history. Brash, confrontational, and completely unapologetic, it helped define an era and ignite a devoted fanbase that’s lasted four decades strong. Now, the band is honouring that legacy with an all-out performance that, according to Lawless, “most likely will never be repeated ever again.”

“This tour showcases for the first time that landmark first album, played in its entirety, from top to bottom,” Lawless explains. “It was an angry record made by an angry band… a record that reflected its time.”

Backed by long-serving members Mike Duda (bass), Doug Blair (guitar), and drumming powerhouse Aquiles Priester, W.A.S.P. are ready to deliver a show that blends nostalgia with full-throttle energy.
