Wednesday 13 Unveils ‘Mid Death Crisis’ – Watch the Devilish New Video Now

Wednesday 13 Announces 10th Studio Album ‘Mid Death Crisis’

New Record Arrives April 25 via Napalm Records HERE.

The Duke of Spook is back! Wednesday 13 has announced his 10th studio album, Mid Death Crisis, set to drop on April 25, 2025 via Napalm Records. Promising a return to his hard-rocking roots, the album fuses campy horror themes with sleaze-metal energy, featuring a guest appearance from Faster Pussycat’s Taime Downe.

Leading the charge is the first single, “When The Devil Commands”, a full-throttle shock-rock anthem with an unforgettable hook and arena-ready production. The accompanying music video, packed with blasphemous imagery and tongue-in-cheek satanic panic, is out now.

Wednesday 13 on “When The Devil Commands”:

“Growing up in the ’80s, I remember the satanic panic of heavy metal. My mom would check my cassettes, terrified I’d been possessed. Most of those bands weren’t even singing about that stuff, but they were accused of it. So, for this song, I wrote exactly what would have scared my mom the most.”

A Hard-Rocking, Genre-Spanning Horror Show

Produced by Alex Kane (Life, Sex & Death, Enuff Z’Nuff, Antiproduct) and mixed by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Prong, DevilDriver), Mid Death Crisis is Wednesday 13 at his most energized.

From the industrial-tinged “Decease and Desist” to the goth-punk “Rotting Away” and the sinister ’60s sock hop-inspired “Decapitation”, the album is a high-octane thrill ride. Standouts include the fast-paced rager “No Apologies”, featuring Taime Downe, and the darkly introspective “I Hurt You” and “My Funeral”.

Although the album’s title suggests a mid-life reckoning, Wednesday 13 shows no signs of slowing down.
