Maid of Stone 2026

Double the Power: Uriah Heep and The Almighty to Co-Headline Maid of Stone Sunday

The 2026 edition of Maid of Stone Festival is kicking off its twelve-day artist reveal in style, announcing not one but two massive names to headline the Sunday lineup: Uriah Heep and The Almighty. Set for Sunday, 19 July, this double billing delivers one of the most powerful final-day lineups the festival has seen to date.

Held in Mote Park, Maidstone, Maid of Stone is carving out a legacy as a fan-first rock destination, and 2026 is shaping up to be its boldest year yet.

Uriah Heep’s Only UK Show of 2026

British rock legends Uriah Heep make their only UK appearance of 2026 at Maid of Stone, bringing with them more than five decades of anthemic, hard-hitting legacy. Known for their sweeping melodies and powerhouse vocals, Heep remain a commanding presence across the European touring circuit and are guaranteed to bring high drama and high volume to close out the weekend.

The Almighty Return to Festival Glory

Joining them at the top of Sunday’s bill is The Almighty, Ricky Warwick’s high-octane juggernaut that dominated the 90s rock scene and continues to ignite live stages with raw energy and riff-heavy grit. Their inclusion brings a nostalgic punch that fans won’t want to miss—and signals a Sunday packed with energy from start to finish.

Festival booker Chris Wright explained the decision to feature both bands:

“When we became aware both bands were available it was impossible to choose—we had to find a way to have both. They’re huge names with huge histories, and having them share the Sunday spotlight just felt right. What a way to close the 2026 show.”

This announcement marks Day One of Maid of Stone’s 12-day run of artist reveals, with new acts set to be unveiled daily. These additions will join an already strong roster including Saxon, The Temperance Movement, and The Wildhearts, with more to come.
