Interzone brings Peter Hook & The Light and post-punk heavyweights to Edinburgh a week earlier
Interzone at Edinburgh Corn Exchange has been rescheduled for Saturday 22 May 2027, moving forward by one week from its previously announced date of Saturday 29 May.
The line-up for the Edinburgh event remains unchanged, with Peter Hook & The Light set to headline a bill spanning post-punk, indie rock and the more uncompromising edges of the UK underground.
Organisers cited unforeseen circumstances for the change, confirming: “The line-up remains the same, headlined by Peter Hook & The Light with support from The Wedding Present, Chameleons and The Armoury Show.”
A four-band bill at the Corn Exchange
The evening will open with The Armoury Show, led by Richard Jobson, before Chameleons bring their expansive, atmospheric guitar sound to the stage.
The Wedding Present will play the penultimate slot, ahead of Hook and his band’s headline set. Peter Hook & The Light have built their live reputation around performances drawn from the catalogues of Joy Division and New Order, returning those songs to the stage with Hook’s basslines at the centre.
