Gen and the Degenerates set April 2027 UK headline tour alongside Hotter On The Internet video
Gen and the Degenerates have announced a UK headline tour for April 2027, following the release of their second album Earthly Delights in January.
The North-west trio will take in 10 dates across the UK, opening at Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds on 7 April and closing at London’s 100 Club on 20 April. The run also includes stops in Sheffield, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff, Bristol and Brighton.

The announcement arrives with a video for new single Hotter On The Internet, a sharp-edged track co-written with The Wombats’ Dan Haggis. The song explores the mismatch between vocalist Genevieve Glynn-Reeves’ online projection and her life away from the feed.
Earthly Delights arrives in January
Earthly Delights is due on 8 January 2027 via Marshall Records. Produced by Michael Champion and Paul Whalley, the record is set to examine identity, sexuality, grief, love and power through the band’s characteristically wry art-punk lens.
The title takes inspiration from Hieronymus Bosch’s 500-year-old painting The Garden of Earthly Delights. The band say: “This album isn’t about anything new. It’s about the same things humans have always made art about; sex and death and love and power.”
They add: “The album is about this moment in history, through concepts and contradictions that are timeless and internal; there’s no grief without love, there’s no joy in life without knowing it ends. Sex and death. Earthly Delights.”

The album’s 10-track running order is as follows:
- I Used To Be Charming
- Hotter On The Internet
- Rich Boyfriend
- It’s A Lot
- It Can Always Get Worse
- Party At The End Of The Universe
- Favourite Jumper
- Sex Symbol
- We Should Do This Again Sometime
- Honey You’re Still In The Game
