Bridge City Sinners unveil one-shot Spears and Blades performance as UK dates get underway
Bridge City Sinners have released a new one-shot live video for Spears and Blades, filmed from the stage during a show in Cologne, Germany, as the Portland outfit begin their Repent Repeat tour across the UK and Ireland.
The run opens in Brighton on 30 September before taking in Nottingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Birmingham, London and Bristol. It marks the band’s first UK return in two years, bringing their ragged blend of punk, old-time folk, bluegrass and prohibition-era jazz back to venues across the country.
Filmed by Ryys, the new Spears and Blades clip captures the band in the middle of a packed European set, with the camera remaining onstage for the full performance. The song appears on their 2024 album In the Age of Doubt.
Guitarist, co-writer and vocalist King Strang said: “Can’t wait to be back in the UK. It’s been two years since we’ve tasted those beautiful breakfast beans. We get to celebrate our favorite holiday for two full weeks this year and we’re going all out. A lot of people really loved Streetlight Manifesto in high school and I still can’t believe we get to play some shows with them.”
Repent Repeat reaches the UK and Ireland
The UK and Ireland dates are followed by the band’s Trick or Treat West Coast shows in October, before three Texas support slots with Streetlight Manifesto in November. Tickets and further information are available via the band’s official shows page.

New Year’s Evil dates announced
Bridge City Sinners have also confirmed their New Year’s Evil Tour, a four-date run with Riley Downing of The Deslondes and Roselit Bone. The shows begin in Boise on 30 December and include a New Year’s Eve hometown date at Portland’s Roseland Theater.
