Against The Current launch Till Death & Back with UK and European headline dates

Against The Current have released their third studio album, Till Death & Back, as the trio begin a run of UK and European headline shows.

Out now, the record is led by focus track Ashes to Glory, a grand, combustible centrepiece built around the album’s recurring themes of survival, fate and transformation. The release follows earlier singles Heavenly, Always You & I, Dead Man Walking, Protégé and White Noise.

A record shaped by fate and transformation

Executive produced by drummer Will Ferri, Till Death & Back also features production from Erik Ron, Josh Gilbert, Morwell and Josh Saldata. Across its songs, the band trace the friction between love and loss, vulnerability and defiance, with Ashes to Glory framing rebirth as something hard-won rather than cleanly triumphant.

Frontwoman Chrissy Costanza says: “Fate is the thread running through every song on this album, the belief that what’s meant for you is bound to you across time. The cost is the fire, the fight, the version of yourself you don’t get back. Till Death & Back is the promise that no matter how far you go, the thread never breaks, not even in death.”

The album moves between widescreen alternative rock and more intimate moments, with Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and Ferri leaning into the contrast rather than revisiting the sharper pop-punk framework of their earlier material.
