Lamb of God’s Headbangers Boat will sail from Southampton to Spain in 2028
Lamb of God will bring their Headbangers Boat metal cruise to British shores for the first time in May 2028, setting sail from Southampton on a four-night voyage to La Coruña, Spain.
The fifth Headbangers Boat voyage will take place aboard Norwegian Jewel from 27 to 31 May 2028. Having previously sailed from Miami, the event’s first European route will head towards Galicia’s Costa da Morte, with Lamb of God scheduled to perform twice during the trip.
The opening line-up is led by Zürich deathcore outfit Paleface Swiss, Glasgow metalcore force Bleed From Within, Texas hardcore unit Kublai Khan TX, Massachusetts veterans Shadows Fall and Swindon heavy experimentalists Heriot. Further acts are still to be announced.
A metal voyage from Southampton
The cruise will pair live sets with a series of artist-led events hosted by Lamb of God members. Randy Blythe is set to take part in a Q&A session, while drummer Art Cruz will deliver a Heavy In The Mix DJ set. Bassist John Campbell will also feature in the Headbangers Poker Tournament final table.
Other onboard activities include Masters of Metal trivia, Metal Mayhem karaoke and a Swag Swap, alongside the ship’s usual restaurants, bars, pool deck, casino, spa and fitness facilities.

Cabins and presale details
First-round presale sign-ups are open until 16 November at 4.59am GMT, with final-round sign-ups running until 19 November at 4.59am GMT. Headbangers Boat alumni will have access to a separate presale between 12 and 16 November.
Public bookings open on 20 November at 7pm GMT. Presale bookings include an onboard photo opportunity with Lamb of God, while instalment-plan reservations are available with a $50 deposit until 5 March 2027, subject to cabin availability.
