Aerosmith and Yungblud Drop Collaborative EP One More Time
Aerosmith are back — and they’ve brought Yungblud with them. The legendary rock icons have teamed up with the British genre-bender for a five-track collaborative EP, One More Time, released today via Capitol Records. Not only does it mark Aerosmith’s first new music in over twelve years, it also finds common ground between two of rock’s most theatrical voices.
The project includes four brand-new tracks co-written and performed by Aerosmith and Yungblud, along with a blistering 2025 remix of Aerosmith’s classic Back In The Saddle. The lead single My Only Angel debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and continues to climb across rock radio and streaming charts.
My Only Angel: A Cross-Generational Anthem
Opening with a stripped-back a cappella duet between Steven Tyler and Yungblud, My Only Angel builds into a sweeping, emotionally-charged anthem. With Perry’s unmistakable guitar closing it out, it’s a masterclass in generational chemistry and mutual admiration. The song has racked up over 22 million streams and over 10,000 spins across 75+ radio stations, showing that the cross-pollination of rock eras is more than just novelty—it hits.
The alternate Desert Road Version adds a poignant twist, with a surprise banjo appearance from none other than Steve Martin. Yes, that Steve Martin. Reimagining the track in a stripped-down, soul-searching style, it brings an unexpected Americana weight to the EP’s emotional centre.
EP Highlights: Problems, Wild Woman, and a Reinvented Classic
Across the EP, Aerosmith’s swagger meets Yungblud’s nervy energy. Problems blends lush strings with cinematic tension, while Wild Woman brings bluesy grit and rapid-fire hooks. A Thousand Days plays like a rock confessional, with both frontmen trading bruised verses and howling choruses.
It all ends with a revitalized Back In The Saddle (2025 Mix), turning up the volume without losing the edge of the original. Yungblud’s vocal bite sits perfectly next to Tyler’s iconic howl, making this new version a fitting closer.
The EP is available digitally and as limited-edition vinyl, CD, and cassette HERE.
