Blood Incantation and Neurosis to headline ArcTanGent’s first year in the Cotswolds
ArcTanGent Festival has unveiled Blood Incantation and Neurosis as the first two main-stage headliners for its 2027 edition, which will take place at a new site in Gloucestershire.
The festival will run from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 August at Todenham Manor Farm, near Moreton-in-Marsh, with a limited early-entry day available on Wednesday 18 August for four-day ticket holders. It marks the first time ArcTanGent has been staged in the Cotswolds.
Denver progressive death metal force Blood Incantation will headline Thursday, while Oakland post-metal veterans Neurosis top Saturday’s bill. The latter arrive following the release of their March album An Undying Love For A Burning World, while Blood Incantation recently released All Gates Open, the soundtrack to their documentary film of the same name.
A progressive Wildhearts set and anniversary shows
Also joining the bill are The Wildhearts, who will perform a one-off progressive set for the festival, alongside French heavy psych explorers SLIFT, German post-metal outfit The Ocean, Italian doom group Messa and returning favourites Conjurer.
Employed To Serve will mark the tenth anniversary of The Warmth of a Dying Sun, while the first wave also includes Holy Fawn, MØL, Psychonaut, Lowen and If These Trees Could Talk.
ArcTanGent organiser and booker James Scarlett said: “There’s no better way to kickstart the new chapter of ArcTanGent, for the first year at our new location in the Cotswolds, than with two of our most requested headliners.
“Both bands are absolutely solid gold headliners. To have them along with Blood Incantation – a band it’s frankly criminal they haven’t played before – is the dream way to kick off a new edition of ArcTanGent.”
Ginger of The Wildhearts added: “We are so excited to come up with a unique, one time only set showcasing just how musical The Wildhearts are. Jaws will drop, minds will blow and joy will abound.”

The opening announcement stretches from towering post-metal to abrasive hardcore, doom and left-field rock, with most of Wednesday’s early-entry programme also now confirmed.

A new Gloucestershire home
Todenham Manor Farm becomes ArcTanGent’s new base after the festival’s sold-out 2026 event. The site sits near Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire; day tickets, four-day tickets and VIP options are now available.
