Cancer Bats set October UK headline tour with Ignite and Knives
Cancer Bats will headline the first Marshall Made Of Loud UK tour this October, taking in independent venues across the country with support from Ignite and Knives.
The 16-date run begins at Dover’s Booking Hall on 12 October and closes with a Halloween headline show at London’s Electric Brixton on 31 October. Along the way, the Canadian heavyweights will play rooms including The Joiners in Southampton, Bristol’s The Fleece, Manchester’s Gorilla, Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and Leeds’ Key Club.
The shows arrive following the release of the band’s eighth studio album, Give Me Dirt, which is out now via Bat Skull and Marshall Records.
Cancer Bats said: “We are beyond excited to announce this Marshall Made Of Loud Tour!! Playing all our favourite independent venues across the UK, with Ignite and Knives, and we end it all with a Halloween show in London!! This is going to be an insane tour!!!”

Give Me Dirt lands with a raw edge
Recorded at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, Give Me Dirt was produced by Kurt Ballou and Zach Weeks. The record was made with the full band working together in the room, with songs addressing nature, freedom, personal change, loss and environmental destruction.
Frontman Liam Cormier also created the album artwork by hand, building a mixed-media piece from paint, paper, stencils and drywall mud.
“So many people I find are so sick of AI these days and all things that look too polished,” Cormier said. “I wanted the artwork to capture the energy of the album, but also represent us as a band. We are rough and dirty, our sound is loud and a mix of so many influences.”
