UK/EU Tour This Oct/Nov – On Sale Now

CROWS are back with a powerful new single, “Vision Of Me,” ahead of their highly anticipated album, Reason Enough, set to drop on 27th September 2024 via Bad Vibrations. The band, known for their raw punk energy and evocative lyrics, are gearing up for a UK/EU tour this October and November.

James Cox on ‘Vision Of Me’

Frontman James Cox opens up about the personal struggles that inspired “Vision Of Me.” “When writing ‘Vision Of Me,’ I was grappling with some unhealthy emotional tendencies I’d developed over several years,” Cox explains. “It’s a very cathartic song for me as it stirs up some difficult memories, but also shows me how far I’ve come since then and that the things that took me there are no longer able to hurt me.”

A Visual Feast

The accompanying music video, directed by Alexandre Do, mirrors the song’s introspective themes. “This song made me think of how hard it is to change as a person, how we usually fall back to our own habits,” says Do. “I wanted to see hundreds of clones of James, past versions of him who all do the same thing in an immovable routine.”

A Glimpse into Reason Enough

Reason Enough promises a refined and cohesive sound, marking the band’s most mature work yet. Produced by Mercury Prize-winning Andy Savours, known for his work with Black Country, New Road and My Bloody Valentine, the album strikes a balance between existentialism and soul-searching, all wrapped in Crows’ signature punk spirit.

A Journey Through Time and Space

Recorded in a former Catholic church and convent in Stroud, Gloucestershire, the album captures the band’s dynamic energy and introspective lyricism. The political and personal themes are a testament to the band’s growth and resilience.
