“‘Like A Woman Can’ is Venus asking Mars to meet her in the middle while in the midst of a bisexual awakening.” — Lzzy Hale

Halestorm Drop Sixth Album Everest and Embrace Queer Identity in New Video

Lzzy Hale leads the charge on an album that climbs higher and hits harder, with a bold new single celebrating bisexuality.

GRAMMY-winning hard rock heavyweights Halestorm have officially released their sixth studio album, Everest, via Atlantic Records. Produced by Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton), the record pushes the band’s sonic boundaries while holding tight to their raw, emotional core.

Described by Grammy.com as showcasing the band’s “artistic diversity,” Everest sees Halestorm turning both the volume and vulnerability up. The Times awarded the album 4 stars, declaring, “there is fantastical appeal throughout,” while the Daily Star called it arena-ready, reminding fans of their upcoming headlining run: “Every track here is sure to get phones out en masse.”

“Like A Woman Can” Video: A Sultry Celebration of Bisexuality

Alongside the album release, Halestorm have shared the music video for their newest single, Like A Woman Can—a smoky, blues-infused track that explores themes of bisexual desire and identity.

Frontwoman Lzzy Hale explained: “‘Like A Woman Can’ is Venus asking Mars to meet her in the middle while in the midst of a bisexual awakening.” The video oozes late-night heat, matching the sultry swing of the track with sleek visuals and emotional gravity.

Tour and Live Highlights

Halestorm’s momentum has only grown with recent live triumphs. Fresh off supporting Iron Maiden across Europe—where Metal Hammer hailed them for effortlessly warming up notoriously tough crowds—they also had the honor of performing at Ozzy Osbourne’s final show, Back To The Beginning.
