KING 810 Embrace Chaos and Community on ‘Rustbelt Nu Metal’
KING 810 are back, and they’ve never sounded more urgent. Hailing once again from the smoldering streets of Flint, Michigan, the metal provocateurs have dropped the title track from their upcoming record Rustbelt Nu Metal — a searing, live-recorded piece of raw storytelling and unfiltered noise. With a new album on the horizon and a full-scale UK/EU headline tour set for Autumn 2025, this is more than just a release — it’s a full-blown resurgence.

Recorded Live, Fueled by Real Life
The title track was captured in one intense session on March 23rd — the spring equinox — with no overdubs, no click tracks, and no safety nets. Just 50 fans, one studio, and KING 810 in their most visceral form. The video that accompanies the song doesn’t flinch: it pulls viewers straight into Flint’s brutal reality with flashes of violence, addiction, and survival. It’s art as witness, and vocalist David Gunn remains at the center — venomous and unwavering.
“RBNM was recorded live… there are no samples, keyboards, synthesizers, click track/metronome used in recording.”

The band isn’t stopping there. Inspired by the energy of this creative method, they plan to record a second and third album on the summer solstice and autumn equinox, respectively — each live, each unfiltered.
