KING 810 unveil Hungry Gods as their Summer Solstice tour gets underway
KING 810 have shared Hungry Gods, a bruising new track that arrives as the Flint metal band prepare for a packed run of festival appearances and headline dates across the UK, Europe and North America.
The song follows the final instalment of their three-part Rust Belt Nu-Metal project, and it puts the group back in the kind of bleak, serrated territory they have carved out over recent years. Guitars grind, the atmosphere stays oppressive and vocalist and songwriter David Gunn sounds as if he is staring straight into the wreckage.
On the new single, Gunn said: “From natural and unnatural disasters to madness, greed, and anything that bleeds – Hungry Gods explores the idea that human affairs could be nothing more than sustenance for our more sophisticated galactic farmers.”

Hellfest to Brighton and back again
KING 810 begin the Summer Solstice European tour with festival slots at Hellfest and Graspop this weekend, before a short UK stretch that takes in Portsmouth, Sheffield, Huddersfield and Brighton. From there, the band move across mainland Europe, with further shows in Belgium, Germany, Austria and Hungary, plus festival appearances at Jera On Air and Fajtfest.
