Lambrini Girls Announce Limited Slutcore Version Repress with David Shrigley

Lambrini Girls aren’t slowing down after a stratospheric year, and to celebrate the chaos they’ve unleashed, the Brighton punks are releasing a limited edition repress of their chart-storming debut album Who Let The Dogs Out. Titled Slutcore Version For Kids Who Can’t Read Good—a perfect collision of sass and satire—it features exclusive artwork by fellow Brighton iconoclast David Shrigley, and is available now in strictly limited numbers.

Only 3000 vinyl copies are being pressed worldwide, including 500 in a Rough Trade-exclusive colour variant, alongside 500 Rough Trade-exclusive CDs that come bundled with a live bonus disc of their riotous Electric Brixton set from April 2025.

An Album That Burned Down the Rulebook

Originally released on 10th January 2025, Who Let The Dogs Out blasted into the Official UK Albums Chart at #16, topping the Rock & Metal chart and claiming spots across the Independent (#2), Physical (#3) and Vinyl (#3) charts. The album earned its place on Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year 2025, and was awarded HERcury Prize by LOUD WOMEN.

Described by the band as “a fireworks display in the factory,” the record is a feral fusion of razor-sharp political commentary, absurdist humour, and livewire punk energy. From takedowns of lad culture (Bad Apple, Big Dick Energy) to critiques of class tourism (Filthy Rich Nepo Baby) and queer identity (Cntology 101*), it’s a searingly honest document of rage, resistance, and ridiculousness.

The album features production by Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox, with mixing by Seth Manchester (Mdou Moctar, Model/Actriz), and continues to pull in international acclaim from Kerrang!, NME, Paste, Notion, and DIY, as well as praise from legends like Kathleen Hanna, Sleater-Kinney, and Iggy Pop.

David Shrigley Joins the Lambrini Universe

The new artwork comes courtesy of visual provocateur David Shrigley, whose absurdist style and anti-establishment wit make him a natural collaborator for Lambrini Girls’ DIY punk ethos. Shrigley’s presence adds a new visual layer to the band’s already confrontational aesthetic—a meeting of two Brighton-based subversive forces with a shared sense of humour and bite.
