MAN WITH A MISSION launch their new era with Cerezo Osaka anthem ONE
MAN WITH A MISSION have released new single ONE, a high-impact techno-rock track written as an anthem for Japanese football club Cerezo Osaka.
Built around the repeated refrain “One Wish, One Glory, One Soul”, the song opens on a stiff electronic stomp before breaking into rap-led verses, serrated guitar riffs and an increasingly frantic rhythm section. Jean-Ken Johnny’s delivery drives the track forward, with Tokyo Tanaka’s vocals rising above the clash of bass, drums and DJ Santa Monica’s scratches.

Rather than a straightforward stadium-rock anthem, ONE shifts through several gears, pairing the band’s familiar rap-metal charge with synthetic textures and a full-throttle closing section.
A chant for the stands
The track was commissioned with Cerezo Osaka’s supporters in mind, after the club sought a new song to help lift the atmosphere around the team.
Jean-Ken Johnny said: “Kamikaze Boy is a huge football fan and I am too. Cerezo Osaka weren’t doing that well during the season before we wrote the song, so they wanted to make a new song to encourage them.
“We wanted to make a song that was easy to chant together, not just the players but the supporters too, to create a positive vibe and enthusiasm to fight for victory.”

The single continues MAN WITH A MISSION’s history of work connected to sport, following previous soundtrack collaborations involving the Japanese Rugby Team and the X Games.
More music to follow in 2026
ONE is billed as the first of several new releases from the band this year. It arrives after a busy run of international dates across Asia, the Americas, the UK and Europe, with further Japanese festival appearances planned through the summer and headline shows announced for December.
