Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced a momentous UK exclusive headline show, set for Friday, 31 July 2026, at Preston Park in Brighton, marking the band’s only UK appearance of the year — and a deeply personal homecoming for Cave.

Brighton, a city that shaped much of Cave’s creative life, will host a rare and powerful return from one of music’s most magnetic performers. The announcement arrives in the wake of Wild God, the band’s acclaimed 2024 album that catapulted them into a new era of artistic and live excellence.

A City, A Sound, A Legacy

Cave, who spent over two decades living in Brighton, described the event with characteristic flourish:

“It’s a homecoming! It’s going to be big, bad and beautiful. An epic show!!!”

The performance promises to be more than just a tour stop — it’s a full-circle moment in the story of a band whose work has been shaped by the emotional landscape of the city. From lyrics to film to personal mythology, Brighton runs deep through the veins of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Setlist Spanning Four Decades

Fans can expect a rich setlist drawn from across the band’s storied discography — from early classics to Wild God, the genre-defying 2024 release produced by Cave and longtime collaborator Warren Ellis. The band’s current lineup includes:
Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Colin Greenwood, Jim Sclavunos, George Vjestica, Larry Mullins, and Carly Paradis.

After a run of sold-out shows across Europe and North America during The Wild God Tour, the group now prepares to bring their arena-level intensity to Preston Park.

Presale and General Tickets

Fan presale opens Thursday 25 September, and general tickets go on sale Friday 26 September at 10am local time.
