Swami John Reis, the mastermind behind iconic bands like Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu, and Rocket From The Crypt, is hitting the road with his latest project, Swami & The Bed of Nails. The group is gearing up for their highly anticipated UK and Ireland tour, starting on September 17th in Bristol and wrapping up on September 28th in London. This tour comes hot on the heels of their debut album, All Of This Awaits You, now available on all platforms via Swami/BMG.
A New Chapter: All Of This Awaits You
The nine-song album was produced by Reis himself and mixed by Ben Moore, evolving from the final Hot Snakes sessions in 2023. Reis described the project as a “growing tributary,” which took shape after the passing of his long-time friend and bandmate, Rick Froberg. The album offers a mix of punk energy and reflection, blending nostalgia with a hopeful outlook for the future of rock ‘n’ roll.
In Reis’ own words:
“I’ve never thought much of self-reflection, at least not the deep kind… My goal has always been to make explosive music, exciting records, play meaningful shows, shake hands, kiss babies, and then repeat.”
