Slash Drops Explosive Crossroads (Live) Ahead of New Concert Film
As anticipation builds for Live at the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival, SLASH has delivered a powerful preview in the form of Crossroads (Live) — a searing, soul-drenched rendition of the Robert Johnson classic, available now via earMUSIC.
Captured during the guitarist’s all-star blues tour stop at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, this raw performance is a gritty homage to the Delta blues tradition, sharpened by SLASH’s unmistakable guitar tone and the tight, impassioned playing of his Blues Ball band. It’s a version that honours its roots while carving out something undeniably its own.

A Celebration of the Blues, Loud and Live
The forthcoming Live at the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival album and concert film — set for release on Friday, November 7th — showcases SLASH’s latest musical evolution. Backed by his Blues Ball band, the set is a wild ride through blues standards and rock essentials, with covers ranging from Howlin’ Wolf and Fleetwood Mac to Hendrix and Bob Dylan. Along the way, SLASH also premieres a brand-new original track, Metal Chestnut.
The lineup includes:
- Teddy “ZigZag” Andreadis (keys, harmonica, vocals)
- Tash Neal (guitar, vocals)
- Johnny Griparic (bass, vocals)
- Michael Jerome (drums)
The concert’s spirit is deeply tied to the mission of the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival — Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance — an initiative born from SLASH’s passion for music as a force of unity and change.
