Sleeping With Sirens Make Triumphant Return To Rise Records With Powerful New Single An Ending In Itself

“This song is about being brave enough to admit that we’re not always okay. No matter what you’re going through, there is hope.”

Sleeping With Sirens Make Triumphant Return To Rise Records With Powerful New Single An Ending In Itself

Sleeping With Sirens are back. The Los Angeles alternative rock veterans have released ‘An Ending In Itself’ via Rise Records, their first single with the label since Feel, which announced itself by debuting at number three on the Billboard 200. Produced by Will Yip — the man behind records from Turnstile, Circa Survive and Movements — the track is a meditation on hardship, vulnerability and the quiet courage it takes to admit you are not okay.

A Love Letter To Anyone Struggling

Where some comeback singles reach for the spectacular, ‘An Ending In Itself’ reaches inward. Driven by unrelenting angst and enormous melodies, the track carries an emotional directness that has always been central to Sleeping With Sirens at their best. Frontman Kellin Quinn was candid about the message he wanted it to carry.

“This song is a love letter to anyone in the midst of struggle. I think we live in an age where we’re supposed to pretend like we have it all together all of the time, so much so that we’re afraid to let anyone in. I think it’s important to have open dialogue and to ask for help when we need it. This song is about being brave enough to admit that we’re not always okay. No matter what you’re going through, there is hope.”

It is the kind of statement that has always resonated deeply with the band’s audience — and given how that audience has grown to include a new generation of listeners discovering the back catalogue, it feels as timely as ever.

Fifteen Years And Still Standing

Few bands have navigated the modern alternative rock landscape with the longevity and consistency of Sleeping With Sirens. Across fifteen years, seven studio albums and thousands of live shows, they helped define the Warped Tour era before outlasting many of their peers and finding renewed momentum with younger fans.

Their Rise Records history alone reads impressively: With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear, the gold-certified Let’s Cheers to This — which spawned the platinum single ‘If You Can’t Hang’ — and the chart-storming Feel have all left their mark. With Will Yip at the helm for this new chapter, the creative stakes feel suitably high.

The band currently consists of Kellin Quinn on vocals, Nick Martin on guitar, Justin Hills on bass, Matty Best on drums, and newest addition Tony Pizzuti on guitar.
