Wage War share Sweet Dreams video as January 2027 UK and European tour lands
Wage War have released their new standalone single Sweet Dreams, accompanied by an official video, while confirming a January 2027 UK and European headline tour with Invent Animate and Windwaker.
The Florida metalcore outfit’s latest track follows the recently released It Calls Me By Name EP, which leaned into the harsher edges of the band’s sound. Sweet Dreams draws from a broader spread of Wage War’s catalogue, pairing its bruising attack with cleaner melodic passages.
“Sweet Dreams is a song about being deceived by the world around you,” the band explain. “About safety in a sense of blissful ignorance. Sonically, it draws inspiration from all of our previous work over the last 10 years.”
UK dates include Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham
The January run will bring Wage War to five UK cities before the tour moves across mainland Europe. Invent Animate and Windwaker will join the full run as support, with the UK leg opening in Cardiff and taking in London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, Manchester’s O2 Ritz and Glasgow’s SWG3 Galvanizers.
