XCOMM Step On The Gas With Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing
If the first months of 2026 were about arrival, the next phase for XCOMM is about acceleration.
Fresh from supporting Foo Fighters at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and landing on the coveted NME 100 list, the Venice Beach hardcore unit have returned with a ferocious new single, “Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing.”

Released via Blowed Out Records — the collaborative brainchild of Ross Robinson, Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong — the track doubles down on everything that’s made the band one of the most talked-about new names of the year.
Two Sides Of The Same Fire
Produced by Ross Robinson, whose CV spans Korn, The Cure, Slipknot, Glassjaw and At The Drive In, the release captures the breadth of XCOMM’s attack.
“Hot Pursuit” is pure confrontation — fast, abrasive and wired tight with razor-edged urgency. It barrels forward without compromise, channelling the friction of everyday frustrations into a hardcore sprint that feels seconds away from derailment.
Then comes “One And Nothing,” pivoting into something darker and more atmospheric. The tension doesn’t dissipate — it mutates. Space opens up, clarity creeps in, and the chaos becomes controlled rather than combustible.
Frontman Michael Gatto explains the duality:
“Hot Pursuit is about everyday frustrations and the way we put energy and purpose to combat those frustrations. I remember this one was written at our second-ever rehearsal. ‘One And Nothing’, on the other hand, is about moments of clarity and realisations that you do have control over your surroundings and the way things play out.”
Momentum With No Brakes
Formed in 2023, XCOMM — Michael Gatto, Jay Vargas, Adan Escoto, Revel Ian and Hunter Grogan — have wasted no time carving their space in the hardcore underground.

Their breakout single “Fake ID” has already clocked over 2.5 million views across platforms, while live appearances alongside Hatebreed and Down, plus festival slots at Milwaukee Metal Fest and Louder Than Life, have sharpened their reputation as a band built for impact.
Now, with debut album Time To Burn looming on the horizon and more live shows set to be announced imminently, the Venice five-piece feel less like prospects and more like inevitabilities.
In their own words: “XCOMM are coming for your life.”
