The Darkness Drop Fiery New Single ‘Walking Through Fire’
‘Dreams On Toast’ Lands March 28th – UK Tour Kicks Off Soon
The Darkness are back with a scorching new single, ‘Walking Through Fire’, the latest cut from their upcoming album Dreams On Toast, set for release on March 28th via Cooking Vinyl. A blazing rock anthem filled with the band’s signature flamboyant falsetto, shredding guitar solos, and thunderous rhythm, the track delivers a tongue-in-cheek nod to the highs and lows of rock ‘n’ roll in 2025.
Regarding the song, frontman Justin Hawkins muses:
“The life of an artist is a gruelling endeavour, leavened with rare moments of shining success… Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, and that is why we, The Darkness, are WALKING THROUGH FIRE… thinking of you.”
New Album ‘Dreams On Toast’ – A Genre-Bending Spectacle
Produced by Dan Hawkins, Dreams On Toast captures The Darkness at their most ambitious, paying tribute to their influences while pushing their signature sound into fresh territory. The record boasts an eclectic mix, from the ‘70s pop brilliance of The Longest Kiss to the self-deprecating glam punk of I Hate Myself, and even a country-infused moment with Cold Hearted Woman. The closing track, Weekend In Rome, even features a monologue from actor Stephen Dorff.
