Joanne Shaw Taylor announces eight-date UK tour behind The Trouble With Love
Joanne Shaw Taylor will return to UK stages in May 2027 for an eight-date run that takes in London’s Cadogan Hall, Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music, Birmingham Town Hall and Glasgow’s St Luke’s.
The guitarist and singer will open the tour at Harpenden’s Eric Morecambe Centre on Sunday 2 May, before travelling through Leeds, Whitley Bay, London and Bury St Edmunds. The run closes in Glasgow on Tuesday 11 May.
The dates follow the release of Taylor’s latest studio album, The Trouble With Love, which arrives via Journeyman Records on Friday 23 October. The record will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
New material alongside the catalogue
The live set is set to draw from The Trouble With Love, alongside selections from across Taylor’s catalogue, including Black & Gold, Heavy Soul, Nobody’s Fool and The Blues Album.
Reviewing the new record, Blues Matters described it as: “This is blues rock with heart, muscle and plenty of scars.”
A Planet Rock pre-sale begins at 10am on Wednesday 21 October, running for 48 hours. General sale follows at 10am on Friday 23 October. VIP meet-and-greet tickets will also be available for the London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow shows through Taylor’s official website.
